The routine work of the college starts at 9.30 a.m with a prayer followed by the thought for the day and book review programmes. Every Wednesday the college starts functioning after an assembly. All students actively participate in the conduct of the assembly. Classes starts at 10.00 a.m and closes at 4.00 p.m. All classrooms are equipped with LCD projectors and computer. Minimum number of attendance is compulsory for every student to complete the course successfully.
The students will be observed and appraised by the teaching faculty throughout the course period and appraisal reports will be sent to the parents. Internal assessment will be mainly based on the observation and appraisal.
Teaching practice is a inseparable part of B.Ed course. Every student has to undergo 40 days of teaching practice compulsorily in any of the practice teaching schools allotted for them. The Teaching practice is in the second semester, for six weeks in a secondary/higher secondary schools following Kerala state/CBSE/ICSE/ISC. They have to take a minimum number of classes as stipulated by the university and conduct tests. Physical Education classes are also compulsory.
Besides the theory and Practical examinations conducted by the university, there will be model examinations in both semesters which form one among the criteria for internal assessment. Moreover classes tests will be administered periodical clasess as a part of the formative evaluation.
An efficient teacher is a talented performer and effective communicator. Skillful exposition of inherent talents of students teachers is expected so as to develop self concept and to inculcate confidence in them. Every student teacher gets a plateform to show case the talents he/she possesses and opportunities will be provided to students every week for the purpose.
The college councilThe College council has been constituted to advice and assist Principal in the academic and internal matters. The college council consists of the following members. The council will appoint on member as the secretary. The secretary will hold office for one year and shall be elible for re-election. It shall be the duty of the secretary to issue notice for the meeting and keeping the record of proceedings

College UnionElection of the college union is held as per rules and regulations of the notification issued by the M.G. Iniversity in this respect. All the elected members are expected to conduct the union activites in such a manner as to bring laurels to the insitutution and provide effective leadership to the student community. Internal quality assurance cell
An Internal quality assurance cell was established in the month of October 2005. The body consists of Principal, staff members, head of administrative staff, representative from management and two representatives from the local community. The IQA function with innovative ideas in the field of education for the future development of the college.
An anti-ragging committee is committee is working in the college which strictly prohibits ragging of any kind with the premises of the college.
A group of 13 students will be assigned to a teacher who will be a tutor in charge of the group. Each group tutor will monitor the progress of the students under his/her charge. Tutorial group meetings will be held once in every week.
Guidance and counseling centre
Guidance and councelling service are provided to the students for enhancing their academic pursuits as well as promoting mental health.
Grievance Redressal Cell.
Concerned students should give written complaint to this cell directly or can put into grievance box if they have any specific grievance or issue to be resolved. The complaints will be dealt with immediately and the committee under this cell would take necessary measures at he earliest.
